The Trigon 350 is proof that the biggest aquarium in the room does not need the biggest wall. Its deep triangular body holds a remarkable 350 litres — genuine large-cichlid, large-shoal territory — behind a sweeping curved front more than 1.2 metres across. On its 80 cm corner cabinet it commands the room from a spot that used to hold a pot plant.

Allow the aquarium's footprint of 123 × 87 cm plus a few centimetres behind for cables. On its matching cabinet the water surface sits at roughly 145 cm — comfortable viewing height from a couch or chair. A filled aquarium weighs about 402 kg with glass and hardscape, which the cabinet and safety base frame are engineered to carry — no extra support needed on a solid floor.
